Both the training data and the test data appear to have zero-values only for tank_lsh_acid and tank_lsh_pre_rinse. Is this correct?

Yes it is.
LSH = Low Switch High. It’s a discrete signal coming from a Low level sensor (level sensor at the bottom of the tank). In the data you have it appears that this level was never reached, which means that the corresponding tanks were never completely empty.
