The rise of Uber, or why you can't learn cab companies from the public data

Hey everyone–
As you’re working on your final solutions this week, just a quick reminder: You can’t learn information about specific cab companies from the public data (and successfully apply it anywhere else). The set of cab companies, their distributions, and their codes will change between different data sets.

I assume that if we were doing this challenge in the 1920’s instead of the 2020’s, there would be a well established set of Chicago Cab Companies that would remain basically the same across all of the data. But disruptive tech will disrupt, and (as you may have noticed on the prescreened leaderboard) that’s not the case for our data.
