I am working on the Youth Mental Health Narratives project and have a few questions regarding feature engineering. Specifically, can we create new variables and add them as labels or targets in the dataset? I’m also unsure about the best practices for generating and incorporating these new variables into the model.

I’m seeking advice from the community on how to approach this, and I would greatly appreciate any insights or examples from those who have worked on similar challenges.
