My name is Greg, but I have been called many other things! I tend to bounce between a pretty wide range of interests. I run a business, work on houses and properties, build and repair things, mess with apps and automation, experiment with AI and data, invent things, and write fiction. I’m also working on a novel, because apparently having one ongoing project at a time was never going to happen.

I like learning new things by actually doing them, especially when I can connect two completely different ideas and make something useful out of it. One day that might mean fixing an AC system or building something out of wood, and the next it might mean designing software, studying geophysics, developing an invention, or working through an idea that started as a ridiculous question and became interesting enough to chase.

Writing scratches a different part of the same itch. Whether I’m building a system, designing something physical, solving a technical problem, or working on a novel, I’m usually trying to understand how pieces fit together and what makes something work.

Mostly, I like solving problems, creating things, and staying curious enough to keep wandering into subjects I have no business knowing this much about.
