Hi all,

Will we be able to make/run submissions after the competition ends (not considered for awards of course)?

Given the excessive queue time in the last week of the competition it was impossible to try out more than a couple of ideas, but I am very interested in seeing how some of my models developed in this time period end up doing!

Thanks, and good luck everyone!

Thanks for you question @georgestein ; glad to hear the competition has caught your interest!

We will not be accepting submissions after the competition closes, but the challenge organizers do intend to publish the data after the competition for ongoing use and development. We’ll add a link to that data on the [challenge home page](https://www.drivendata.org/competitions/83/cloud-cover/) when it is available.

Given the data will be released, it would be useful to fix/remove the bad labels. To help with that, below are the chip ids of the 601 chips I came across where the labels are corrupted in various ways.

I’m sure the competition winners have compiled a more extensive list, anyone care to add on?

Image for proof - black is “true label” (with total “true” cloud cover fraction in title), red is my model predictions for reference.
