# Data download error : SSL validation failed for

Hi, several attempts to obtain data-sets now have been unsuccessful， as below。

Hey @cheers-jaw-

Are you using Windows? If so, I think there may be some steps before SSL auth will work properly with the aws CLI in PowerShell: [amazon web services - SSL CERTIFICATE\_VERIFY\_FAILED in aws cli - Stack Overflow](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/32946050/ssl-certificate-verify-failed-in-aws-cli)

If taking the steps described there still doesn’t work, please follow up!
