# About PETs Prize Challenge next year

Hi @kubao,

The PETs Prize Challenge is not an annual competition. There are currently no plans for another related challenge that DrivenData is involved with. I encourage you to follow the [Privacy Engineering Program at NIST (U.S.)](https://www.nist.gov/itl/applied-cybersecurity/privacy-engineering) or [CDEI (U.K.)](https://cdei.blog.gov.uk/) if you’re interested in privacy-enhancing technologies. The challenge organizers recently started a [new blog series](https://www.nist.gov/blogs/cybersecurity-insights/uk-us-blog-series-privacy-preserving-federated-learning-introduction) that is about how the challenge went.
